It’s CULTED with your Monday NEWSRUSH, featuring the weekend’s stand-out headlines.
First up, for the release of its Jordan 4, Off-White partnered with Notre to support Englewood Barbie’s HugsNoSlugs charity. The Chicago-based charity helps feed those in need, has opened a community COVID relief centre, and is creating safe spaces amid the city’s gun violence.
In more charity related news, Bella Hadid is holding an auction with money being raised for Feeding America food banks, Know Your Rights, and other organisations that are supporting the Black community. The model collaborated with Chrome Hearts on limited edition fashion pieces, which will be auctioned with 100% of proceeds going to charity.
Another charity initiative that was announced over the weekend was Dover Street Market’s COVID-19 relief drops. DSM has collabed with designers including Charles Jeffrey, Nike, and Off-White, to create 31 limited edition graphic tees. Called the Fearless Initiative, 100% of proceeds from the sales will go to charities supporting healthcare workers in each of the six DSM regions.
And to end our roundup of the weekend’s top stories, Kanye’s roll continued as he finally dropped the artwork for upcoming album Donda on Saturday. And that’s not all, a sample of the Adidas Yeezy 451 surfaced too.
