Monday NEWSRUSH Featuring Amazon X LFW Digital Storefront.
It’s CULTED with your morning NEWSRUSH for Monday 14th September.
After lockdown forced us to move to voiceover videos for the past few months, we’re finally back in the studio. CULTED’s relaunch officially kicks off today with a host of new presenters and content. So let’s get into the latest top headlines.
Amazon is set to launch a digital storefront in partnership with London Fashion Week. The store will feature spring 2021 collections and archival pieces and is part of the wider Amazon Fashion Connects initiative which will provide resources and exposure to emerging designers.
In other news, StockX co-founder Josh Luber is leaving the resale platform that he helped create 5 years ago. The former CEO confirmed to the BOF that the decision was mutual. This comes after it was revealed that StockX is facing a class-action lawsuit after a hack last August caused millions of users’ data to be leaked on the dark web.
To round off this morning’s updates, Sotheby’s first- ever Hip-Hop auction takes place tomorrow in New York. The historic sale will see items including Notorious B.I.G.’s crown, love letters written by a teenage Tupac and Supreme x Louis Vuitton trunks.
That’s all for this morning’s updates. It’s Sam with CULTED.
