Monday News Rush Featuring Viral Digital Fashion Show.

It’s CULTED with your Monday morning NEWS RUSH.

First up, Gucci is going seasonless and will now only show twice a year.

Creative director Alessandro Michele said in a diary entry posted on IG: “I will abandon the worn-out ritual of seasonalities and shows to regain a new cadence, closer to my expressive call.” He went on to say “we will meet just twice a year to share the chapters of a new story.”

This comes after industry leaders, including Dries Van Noten and the CFDA, called for an industry reset.

Next up, Kanye West is reportedly working on releasing his new album ‘God’s Country’.

Artist Arthur Jafa revealed in a conversation with Michèle Lamy that Kanye was working on new tracks for the album. Jafa posted the discussion on social media telling fans that a new single could be coming “sometime next week”.

And to round off today, Hanifa sent the internet into a frenzy on Friday with a digital fashion show.

The brand debuted its latest collection on Instagram live via 3D models. The collection was inspired by Congo, the hometown of designer Anifa Mvuemba, who told Teen Vogue that the digital line “has been a complete game changer” for her.

That’s all for today it’s Sam with CULTED. Have a great start to the week.
