Monday NEWS RUSH Featuring Bottega Veneta AW20.
It’s CULTED with today’s NEWS RUSH.
First up, Bottega Veneta showed their AW20 collection in Milan on Saturday. The collection got mixed reviews, but they did introduce a 100% biodegradable shoe and we appreciate the concept. A more in-depth recap is coming later today.
While Bottega Veneta managed to show, unfortunately, Milan Fashion Week had to be cut short due to the coronavirus. The Italian authorities cancelled all public events in Milan which has left us wondering if this will affect Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned for a full video on the issue later today.
Next, another brand is doing their part for the planet. Diesel has announced a new fashion project DIESEL UPCYCLING FOR, which will use new pieces made of combined deadstock from the brand’s archives. Each capsule collection will be in collaboration with a different designer.
Finally, Dior is partnering with the Louvre in Paris to restore the Tuileries Garden. The brand signed a five-year partnership to help restore the park and will be showing its fall collection there.
That’s it for today, it’s Sam with CULTED, wishing you a great start to the week!
