Monday here we go again. We are at the start of the week, but here’s to our Monday Briefing to make things that much easier. In case you hadn’t heard, Saint Laurent is starting a new podcast series with Juergen Teller being the interviewee of its first episode, NIGO is collaborating with wine specialists Penfolds, and Levi’s® is teaming up with Kaytranada.

The Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello has always had a great appreciation for the wider artistic world, opening up Saint Laurent to different avenues than just fashion, and the launch of the SAINT LAURENT RIVE DROITE podcast series is just another example of that fact. For its first episode, the fashion Maison welcomes the iconic photographer Juergen Teller, interviewed by French journalist Augustin Trapenard. The full episode is now available to stream on YouTube and all major platforms.

Penfolds drops a collab with NIGO

After an initial launch last month, Penfolds’ latest collaboration Grange by NIGO is now available for purchase. Together, the two put their creative minds together to create a brand new luxury wine bottle. The new design was inspired by NIGO’s visit to the Penfolds Magill Estate Winery in South Africa two years ago, featuring a bold grape graphic as well as collaborative logo markings. The collab piece is now available to purchase at Harrods and selected retailers.

Levi’s® is living it up with Kaytranada

For its Live in Levi’s® 2024 campaign, the denim giant unveils a short film titled “The Floor is Yours” featuring an unreleased Kaytranada track featuring Channel Tres. Directed by Omar Jones and choreographed by Sherrie Silver, the video showcases Levi’s® commitment to uniformity through denim. On top of the film, an open casting call will allow dancers from all over the world to be a part of a new film in partnership with Kaytranada, simply by using the hashtag #LevisOpenCall.

Satisfy drops an LA-inspired short film

Running has been making its rounds, and Satisfy has become frontrunners in this speedy cultural movement. To commemorate the love of running, Satisfy has released a short film titled “I Think I Saw You on My Run Today,” set in Los Angeles and featuring the newly signed pro athlete Matt Lenehand. Throughout the film, Lenehand is seen running faster than Paul Mescal the morning after a date, accompanied by the sounds of The War on Drugs’ “Red Eyes.”

The Uzbekistan designer, Jenia Kim, has just released her FW24 collection for her eponymous brand, J.Kim. The new offering matches sculptural forms with enticing textures, such as on a button-up emerald green dress with hints of a floral print on its sides, where the arm holes directly connect to the hips. We also see inspiration from Rishtan ceramics and porcelain pieces, adding a touch of vulnerability and delicacy to the collection.

Jean Touitou takes inspiration from Canada for his latest EP

The founder of the French fashion label A.P.C., Jean Touitou, recently took to his lesser-known hobby, music. Touitou is releasing a brand new EP titled Canada, inspired by his trips to his home turf of Tunis. The EP is made up of three songs – “Canada,” “Canada Dub” and “Ode au Cimetière du Borgel” – and is now up for grabs on A.P.C.’s website.
