Oakley Factory Team Remixes the Chop Saws
Oakley Factory Team is the Oakley sub-label conceived and conceptualised by Brain Dead. The LA-based brand is behind nostalgia-drenched releases and reissues of Oakley footwear and is back for FW23 to produce six new colourways of the Chop Saw and Chop Saw Mule. New colours include Duck Green/Thunderstorm, Mocha, Nomad, Honeycomb Black, Lemon/Plum and Wild Ginger/ Coffee. Channel some Y2K utilitarianism into your FW23 wardrobe with these Oakley Factory team belters – you won’t regret it.
Ferragamo introduces the Hug Bag
Ferragamo’s Hug Bag was first introduced in February as part of Maximillian Davis’ second runway collection, inspired by the craftsmanship of Florentine artisans. The end result was a typically on-brand timeless elegance, and you can now get your hands on this sleek piece of arm candy, too. It comes in various colourways from deep red to dark purple, with black and white options available, too. Being both stylish and practical, each piece is carefully handcrafted to last a lifetime.
Coach partners with Boiler Room for its “Wear Your Shine Campaign”
Coach launched an event partnership with independent music platform and curator Boiler Room to celebrate the launch of its “Wear Your Shine” campaign. The launch party was held at West Silvertown’s sacred sanctuary of nightlife, The Cause. It was soundtracked by a selection of UK electronic artists, including DESIREE (RSA) and fka.m4a and Laelo black and Jay Jay Revlon. The event showcased the next chapter of Coach’s storytelling grounded in the Courage to Be Real – a mission to encourage audiences to express themselves authentically. All performances from the night will be live soon on the Boiler Room YouTube channel.
Serge DeNimes channels the beauty of the deep sea
Serge Denimes has channelled the beauty of the deep sea for its “Oceanic Glow” collection, which draws on the mystery of the nautical unknown. The offering dives deep into the allure of otherworldly creatures, colours, and textures found at the ocean’s depths. This is reflected through the inclusion of colour-changing gemstones, wave-like layering techniques, iridescent stones, and natural shells. Head to the Serge DeNimes website to get your hands on the collection.
Aimé Leon Dore and Woolrich link for FW23
Aimé Leon Dore has attracted a loyal following from Berwick Street to the Bronx, with its collaborations with Woolrich well-received each time. 2023 sees the two link up for a seventh time, updating Woolrich items with ALD’s sharply defined streetwear-meets-menswear uniform. The collection is made up of Woolrich Aleutian Parka, Camo Aleutian Parks, Woolrich Camo Mill Pant, and Woolrich Mill Pant. The duo came together to transform four hanging sculptures soon to be on display at Shott’s gallery, WWW, into sterling silver jewellery to highlight Smith’s handywork. When it came to polishing the silver, Shott took a restrained approach, giving the pendants a relic-like charm.
Carhartt WIP releases Winter 2023 Campaign
Carhartt WIP has released its Winter 2023 campaign shot by photographer Daniel Derro Regan in New York City. Dark shots showcase the beauty of the Big Apple at night with Carhartt WIP denim cut loose, channelling some ‘90s downtown spirit. This doesn’t come from a deliberate desire for nostalgia but through the cyclical nature of fashion, which inevitably nods to the trailblazing looks of yesteryear. Head to Carhartt WIP stores and online to shop the collection.
Jimmy Choo and Jean Paul Gaultier get together
Jimmy Choo launched its collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier with a dinner hosted by Sandra Choi and Florence Tétier, with a soundtrack provided by DJs Bestley and Fiona Zanetti. Highlights from the collection include tattoo print boots and heeled pumps, channelling the collaboration’s rebellious spirit.
Champion has teamed up with Hélas for an exclusive collection
Lucas Puig’s Hélas has teamed up with Champion for an exclusive collection of tees, hoodies, sweatpants, beanies and caps. The collaboration sees the French skate brand work with Champion’s Reverse Weave range – known for its quality and generous baggy fit, revamped with a custom Champion and Hélas logo.
