Molly Goddard showcased her Autumn/Winter 20 collection here in London.
You know you’re at a Molly show when you can hear the ruffle of tulle from a mile away. The show took place at Central Hall Westminster – the high-ceilinged and pillared hall gave us ethereal vibes, while a dinner party was put on and bread and wine was served.
This season, the floaty, fluffy tulle that Goddard has become known for, was matched with pleats, knitwear and prints. We saw many tulle prairie dresses worn with cardigans underneath.
Goddard said “for this collection, I was thinking a lot about growing up on Portobello and dressing up to visit the market as a little kid. “
The playful bowed beanie hats were one of the focal points, enforcing a girly, youthful vibe. The models wore platform creepers, bringing an edge to the looks and really rounding off the collection. Reminding us that Molly is a pro at making elegance look easy.
What was your favourite look from the show?
