Milan Mens Fashion Week January 2020 Highlights.
Music by: Cabaret Nocturne – Lunar.
It’s CULTED with your 60-second FASHION BLAST.
Here’s our Milan fashion week men’s highlights.
First, we have Dsquared2 celebrating their 25th anniversary – Dean and Dan Caten reminded us what D2 is all about: leather, chunky knitwear, a cool mix of textures –and of course – lots of denim.
Dsquared said “Iconic pieces from the archives were redesigned by playing with proportions”.
The looks were “super tight and shrunken or oversized.”
Next, we have MSGM.
Massimo Giorgetti teamed up with horror film director Dario Argento.
This resulted in blending MSGM’s signature style with a twist of darkness.
Classic floral prints featured Venus flytraps and comic book style monsters were printed on jumpers and pullovers.
And last we have Marni.
The show had a sense of beautifully organised chaos.
There was over the top tailoring, patchwork, deconstructed coats and plenty of garish colours and patterns.
Francesco Risso continues to address new production methods – this time he upcycled old scraps of fabric and leftover deadstock.
We love seeing designers that present runway looks that are ethically conscious.
So, guys – what are your Milan highlights?
