MCM makes its Salone del Mobile debut in Milan

MCM has made its Salone del Mobile Milan debut with its “Wearable Casa” collaboration conceived by Atelier Biagetti and curated by Maria Cristina Didero. The overarching mood is a mix of irony and originality, allowing objects to transcend their traditional roles and bring the audience into another world. The project spans two levels: reality and the metaverse, allowing the exhibition to live long after the physical exhibition is over. It will be available to view from April 16-21.

Robert Pattinson is a Dior icon

Robert Pattinson is the star of Dior’s “Icons” campaign, which sees Kim Jones reinvent the Maison’s menswear identity through a timeless neo-wardrobe. Pattinson can be seen donning structured coats and cashmere sweaters in front of the lens of Alasdair McLellan. The Icons collection embodies the spirit of excellence intrinsic to the House of Dior, seen in wide-leg pants, and structured outerwear.

TRIANGL is taking us to the treehouse

If the weekend’s warm weather has got you dreaming of summer, then look no further than TRIANGL’s latest collection. It’s shot in a treehouse in Bali, and inspired by the surrounding scenery, where earthy textures intersect with the vibrant and fertile landscape of tropical rainforests. This is reflected in the Narla Dress in Fern, Sara Birkini in Pine and Maia Bikini in Lime. When it comes to the fabrics terry towelling and velvet bring in new textures perfect for summer. If this is a bit of you, grab yours here.

Palace and Evisu fancied another one

Palace and Evisu go together like lager and peanuts —basically, it’s very nice. And now, they’re back at it again, rolling the dice with some die-embroidered denim, jorts, and knitwear. Denim trucker hats, back-pocket tote bags, and even a set of dice with a co-branded denim pouch round out the collection. The latest chapter of Palace x Evisu will launch online and in-store on Friday, April 19.

One Block Down and Vans release the “Star Bullet” Rowley XLT

One Block Down’s latest project with Vans is the “Star Bullet,” which pays homage to the skateboarding culture of the early 2000s. The silhouette chosen for the nostalgic exploration is the Rowley XLT, a Geoff Rowley signature symbolic of the early 2000s scene. The iconic silhouette features a reinforced toe cap and adds star-like detailing to the sidewall as part of the contemporary take on the 2001 original. Shop the release here
