Maisie Williams, alongside her production company Rapt, have announced the launch of a new podcast Frank Film Club. Hosted by Williams and four other young women all working within the film industry, Frank Film Club dives deep into all things cinema-related.

The concept is simple. The four hosts watch a film and get together each Tuesday and Friday to give their take on it. And there’s no limit to their viewing. From foreign films to independent and box office, as well as documentaries and more, Frank Film Club welcomes all film-fanatics or any casual movie-theatre-goer. If you’ve seen the film (or even if you haven’t and just want to hear about it), you’re in.

Creating a film-club atmosphere, Maisie stated wanting “to make a space where there’s no pressure to speak about film in a certain way, where we could be ourselves and enjoy the freedom of the discussion. Frank Film Club is a place where you didn’t have to study film to have an opinion. We’re so grateful and excited to share it with listeners everywhere.”

For season one of the podcast, Williams and her team have already announced that they will be discussing Pixar’s Soul, Boots Riley’s Sorry to Bother You, Ridley Scott’s Thelma and Louise and much more. You can expect fun, dynamic, and judgement-free conversations, as well as behind-the-scenes insight.

Hop on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or your usual podcast-listening platform to listen to Frank Film Club now.
