The Louis Vuitton Studio Prêt-à-Porter has just dropped its Homme Fall 2023 collection, offering a selection of contemporary garments while we await the highly-anticipated drop of Pharrell’s debut collection shown last June.
The intermediary collection switches up traditional menswear-coded clothing, hybriding professional and casual dress. This can be seen especially in the Monogram Flower Stole and the Long-Sleeved Printed Shirt that turn regular office-wear into a modern printed option that can be worn in and out of office hours.
The French house‘s collection also offers some classics, like the Slender Wallet, Comfy Scarf and the Pacific Loafers. Each has been re-thought under a modern eye, bringing signature Louis Vuitton monograms and patterns to uplift the traditional garment. Pieces like a two-tone brown leather and khaki jacket feature diagonal lines, transforming the house’s signature Epi leather into an illustrated motif.
While the clothing already looks impressive, it’s when it’s worn by someone that it truly comes to life. Especially with the Epi-inspired lined products, the garments’ movements create an optical illusion when worn, showcasing the high-quality craftsmanship that went into creating them.
