Stunning Silhouettes at Loewe AW20.

It’s CULTED with your RUNWAY RUNDOWN.
Here in Paris, Loewe just showcased a majestic AW20 collection by Jonathan Anderson.
The show space was minimal – a single runway on a black and white checkered floor – making the clothes the centre of attention.
Anderson beautifully experimented with silhouettes through this collection. Exaggerated bishop sleeves and cinched waists created a juxtaposition between tight fit and volume. This silhouette was repeated in a number of bold prints, one being black with Kandinsky styled spots. Another stand-out look was a simple white gown with elongated sleeves.
The collection also featured sportswear influences – an unusual take for Loewe. Tracksuits hit the runway in a muted 60s colour palette.
Cape/coats were also seen, as well as oversized sleeves which seem to be a trend this season.
Accessories are always a great feature in any Loewe show. Feather headpieces brought a statement touch to the looks and the signature Loewe draw-string bag of course made an appearance.
Jonathan Anderson is always one to watch during Fashion week – did he live up to your expectations with this collection?
