Lady Gaga, along with the Global Citizen group, has raised over $35mn for the World Health Organization – and she’s not stopping there! The pop icon has announced that the fundraiser was a precursor to a global concert aimed at recognising the efforts of health workers in fighting COVID-19.

“We want to raise the money before we go on air,” Gaga said, “When we do go on air, put your wallets away, your credit cards away, and enjoy the show.”

One World: Together At Home, will feature a star-studded line-up, including Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Elton John and many more. The show will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert and we can’t wait!

In a statement on Monday addressing health workers, Gaga said “what you are doing is putting yourself in harm’s way to help the world and we all salute you.”

She hopes the concert will “celebrate and encourage the power of the human spirit.” One World: Together At Home will be broadcast across the US and streamed on YouTube on April 18.
