Lacoste is supporting its parasports ambassador Théo Curin in his Lake Titicaca Challenge, a unique and ambitious expedition. In 2020, Théo Curin relinquished his participation in the Tokyo Paralympic Games to undertake his own adventure, swimming for a total of 122 kilometers in water of 10 degrees, at an altitude of 3800 meters and without a support team.
As the official outfitters of the challenge, Lacoste is working sustainability into all its activities for this project. From the collection design phase to the garments being worn by customers (including manufacturing) the brand is working in sustainable practises to improve its environmental impact.
Beyond the sporting challenge, this event embodies values that are dear to Lacoste. As official kit supplier, the brand is supporting this adventure, in which the three athletes will have to give their all collectively to succeed. All three have different personal and sporting backgrounds and will be able to rely on this rich diversity to take on the challenge and succeed together in this unprecedented expedition.
We look forward to see what else Lacoste and Théo Curin have in store.
