Who’s ready for the eYe Junya Watanabe x Palace jacket to drop?

Grab your wallet and hold your breath: the eYe Junya Watanabe x Palace is here, almost. Dover Street Market London listed the coveted item now ready for pre-order for a mere £1,815.

The Men’s Cordura Nylon Jacket was first seen on Junya Watanabe’s FW23 runway show last January during Paris Fashion Week. The Japanese designer unveiled the jacket alongside eighteen other collaborations with the likes of Stüssy, Champion and The North Face scattered into his largely all-black utilitarian collection.

The Palace co-created outerwear piece felt like a natural extension of the Junya-verse with two-tone black look, only the appearance of the miniscule Tri-Ferg logo gave away the collaboration.

As the name hints to, this Junya Watanabe x Palace piece is made out of nylon as seen on the hood and sleeves, while the body is made out of Cordura, a nylon-derived fabric often used in military gear for its high-quality durability. It features stomach and chest pockets, where the Palace and Cordura logos can be spotted, as well as Palace-branded zipped side and back pockets, and a reflective line running on the front, back and sleeves of the piece.

This is the first collaboration between these two, and it’s already set to be a highly successful one. If we take a look at Junya Watanabe’s collab with Supreme in 2021, the collection was an instant sell-out. We don’t doubt that this Palace collab will be a repeat of that.

Pre-order your Junya Watanabe x Palace jacket on DSM’s website before finding it on resell sites for ten times the price.
