Jordan has prioritised recruiting Black creatives for its NYC capsule collection campaign and we love to see it.

Models, including stylist Kia Marie and Black Girl Beach Day founder, Germany Lancaster, were shot around their home borough by Bronx-born photographer Raven Varona.

Repping the hometown of the creatives, the collection features reflective Jordan motifs, inspired by the New York City subway system including a flight suit, utility pants and Windbreaker.

Shibon Kennedy was there to give her touch with the styling throughout the campaign, and masks by Andre Emery and Megan Cahill were also a feature.

On the decision to prioritise recruiting Black creatives, Jordan’s women’s GM Andrea Perez explained that the brand is committed to the fight against systemic racism by placing an emphasis on partnering with Black-owned businesses.

The Jordan NYC Capsule Collection is set to launch globally on 24 August. Will you be copping?
