Jean-Paul Gaultier took to Twitter to announce that his next runway show will be his last.
The show will take place on 22 January and will celebrate 50 years of his career.
Jean-Paul Gaultier had his first individual collection in 1976.
Since then he has pushed boundaries with his provocative style, becoming a firm fixture in the fashion calendar.
While the fashion and perfume line will continue under the Gaultier brand, Jean-Paul will no longer be designing the garments.
But don’t worry; this isn’t the last you will see of the design legend.
In the video, Gaultier teased fans pretending to be on the phone spilling the tea.
“Stay tuned … Gaultier Paris will go on, the Haute Couture continues!” he said. “I have a new concept I’ll tell you all about it later … all the little secrets… to be continued”
