It’s CULTED with your 60-second ART BLAST.

Today we’re highlighting the work of Bart Cooper. Raised in West Africa, Bart takes inspiration from “his country’s vibrant colors and breathtaking scenery” to create bold, colourful creations.

His recent ‘Purple’ series sees artists and leaders, known for their unique personas, portrayed in a pop art style, with splatters of colour representing “the individual leaving his or her mark in this world.”

Bart’s art always has a message and he told CULTED:

I want my pieces to speak and have a conversation with [the viewers] soul. I want them to feel challenged and empowered.”

And that feeling of empowerment is definitely clear in his ‘Heroes’ series. The images reflect on “the disparity between our recognition of pop culture’s fictitious heroes versus those who actually exist”, an idea that has never been more topical.

Through his work Bart wants “to leave an impression on the planet” by portraying “balance, truth, history and a sense of empowerment and teaching”.

So guys, are you a fan of Bart Cooper’s work?
