It’s CULTED with your 60-second FASHION BLAST
Are sustainability and fair labour practices important to you when you shop? Then meet LA based brand Most Prominent Co. created by Avery Antonio and Mayra Moran, the brand redefines what streetwear means and came into creation after Antonio studied a course involving labour and workers’ rights.
“I was shocked to find that corporations and companies, who’s labour force is the backbone of their operations, faced hidden issues that the general public do not know about or deem important”, Antonio told CULTED. This prompted the co-founders to focus on sustainability and ethics in their own brand.
“Fair-labour is at the heart of all we do. Our production process is either in-house or outsourced to a local garment manufacturer”, Antonio said. And that’s not to mention sustainability.
As well as using fabrics sourced from natural fibres, the brand also runs a program called “MAKE IT LAST”.
They repurpose old garments sent to them by customers in return for 15% off their next purchase – making more room in the sender’s closet and giving their unwanted garments a new lease of life!
