It’s CULTED with your 60-second NEWS BLAST.
There’s nothing better than buying your goods online and them being with you the next or same day.
But do you ever feel guilty about the impact this might have on the environment?
Well, H&M may have found the solution.
To cut down on carbon emissions, H&M has teamed up with Dutch bicycle company Fietskoeriers, to start delivering orders by bike in the Netherlands.
This new service is a next day delivery option, that is the same price as H&M’s regular next day delivery.
The retailer says that methods of transport are becoming a very important focus when discussing sustainability and the aim to be “climate positive by 2040”.
We think more companies should take this approach towards delivery!
Not only is this much better for the environment – it’s also super speedy!
Perhaps this could be perfect for Fartfetch and Matches Fashion’s same-day delivery service.
Using a sustainable delivery method is certainly a step in the right direction.
But retailers need to also apply these methods to production cycles and fabrics to help save the planet!
So guys, which companies do you think should be using a bicycle courier service?
Let us know below!
