
Gucci and collaborations: the ongoing collaborative vision under creative director Alessandro Michele is expanding once more. Kicking off 2022 with an announcement made via Superplastic’s Instagram, the two labels have revealed an upcoming collaboration.
Not much has been divulged so far, with Superplastic just writing “Welcome to tha fam,” in its post on social media. Aside from a bright, wavy pastel graphic showcasing the duo’s logos forming the background, we’re in the dark about what to expect from the project.
However, given Superplastic’s previous projects with names like J.Balvin, Fortnite and the Gorillaz, Gucci-branded figurines wouldn’t go amiss. With brands continuing to shift their focus into the digital realm, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the release go entirely virtual, either. Check out the announcement post below.
