The recipients of the second round of Gucci’s North America Impact Fund have been revealed by Gucci. 15 non-profit organizations were chosen to each receive $50,000, out of 250 organizations that applied for this fund.
The 15 chosen include: The Academy Foundation/Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, The African American Art & Culture Complex, Journi, Human Rights Campaign, Magpies and Peacocks, Misa Hylton Fashion Academy, ProjectArt, Radical Partners, Sista Afya, Social Works, SoHarlem, Tools and Tiaras, UforChange, We Are R.I.S.E. and Weird Enough Productions.
All 15 of these recipients are diverse-led Nonprofit Organizations that work in social, cultural and economic issues affecting communities throughout North America.This year, Gucci’s Fund focused on female mental health, workforce development, art and fashion platforms for Black creatives, LGBTQ community resources and programs for under/unemployed people.
Alongside the fund, the recipients will each be able to volunteer with Gucci employees, attend town hall conversations with Gucci leadership and partake in different programs organized by Gucci’s North American Brand and Culture Engagement team.
