It’s that time again where we round up what you may have missed this week (or have just been too hot to notice!).

This summer (and this year’s Love Island) has been full of surprises, and this week is no different. There have been various drops in the fashion world that have caught our attention – from the first release from Avery Footwear to finally getting a date for the Travis Scott low we started lusting over months ago. Let’s get into it, just in time for the weekend.

AVERY FOOTWEAR FIRST RELEASE

In the middle of a pandemic London based sneakerhead Leon decided to quit his job and follow his dreams with the launch of Avery Footwear (or then known, untitledfootwearproject). Now, after a year in the making, the first pair “Ambition” has been scheduled to release on Friday 29th June exclusively online! With only 150 pairs made, you don’t want to miss out of a piece of history.

A NEW BRAND SS23

Little league loving, road trip taking and bouldering brotherhood purveyors of coast to coast Americana inspired thrift garments ‘ANB’ to present their latest collection – SS23 paying homage to classic sportswear appraised with nuance of today’s mad cap socio-political climate.

UNKNOWN SUMMER COLLECTION

Following their sell-out UK pop-up bus tour, the Unknown team have just returned back into London on the back of a festival tour which culminated in their merch collaboration with Rolling Loud Festival – where they were the first UK brand invited for collaboration. The summer collection will include the signature rhinestone tracksuit in ‘Purple Panel’ being the latest colourway of the cult item which is set to sell-out in minutes on launch with no plans for future re-issue so don’t sleep!

COUCOU CHLOE “1” REMIX

Following the release of the boundary-breaking “One” EP late last year, today COUCOU CHLOE announces a remix EP of that project and shares the first track “BLINK” featuring acclaimed New York-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocalist Eartheater. For the overheated babes right now, you will be happy to know it’s a moody and downtempo lullaby.

TRAVIS SCOTT JORDAN LOW

After months of rumours and envy towards those with early pairs, the latest release from Travis Scott and Nike has reached the SNKRS app! Arriving in a slightly lighter-looking colour scheme than the previous iteration, the “Reverse Mocha” flips 2019’s “Dark Mocha” colourway on its head for another super-clean neutral take on the fan-favourite Air Jordan 1 low.

Curated to disrupt, provoke and inspire the artists are hoping to encourage consumers to reconsider their current actions and impact on the future.
