Creative director of Givenchy Matthew M. Williams has taken the iconic Pandora bag and given it a makeover for FW23, with an emphasis on refined detailing as Williams does best.
The luxury brand’s iconic slouchy-cubed bag now comes in two sizes – small and medium – and two different materials – nylon and leather, after being teased in a large iteration with a camouflage pattern that you may have been completely blind to on the FW23 runway.
Revamping heritage house codes to give them an edge is something Williams knows a thing or two about. Here, the creative director focuses on silver hardware, specifically lux Givenchy lettering and D-rings placed on the shoulder straps.
The medium Pandora boasts a large inside compartment, enough to fit your daily essentials from that iPad you swore you’d take notes on to a spare change of clothes if you wanted to. On the other hand, the small Pandora is for the minimalists only, the type of girlie who knows all she needs on a night out is her ID and her lipgloss.
Givenchy’s Pandora bag comes in a choice of black or kahki, adding to the already popular faux-fur leopard print one. Priced at 950€ for the small nylon ones and 1,500€ for the leather ones, 1,400€ for the medium nylon and 1,800€ for the medium leather one, the whole selection is now available for purchase on Givenchy’s website.
