Clare Waight Keller showcased her latest collection for Givenchy in Paris last night.
Guests entered the show through a Matrix like light tunnel and the runway itself was minimal. A series of spotlights created the walkway in a large open space.
The first look featured a striking sun hat with a supersized brim and was paired with a sleek black dress. For this collection, Waight Keller was inspired by French New Wave cinema and the women that dominated it when it was at its peak.
The British designer has brought an effortlessly elegant air of femininity to Givenchy since she joined back in 2017 and this collection was no different. We saw dramatic cape dresses, exquisite tailoring and an abundance of plumes.
Adut Akech sauntered down the runway in a transparent black blouse complete with a train and white feather detailing and as always she looked incredible.
Colour block dresses were also a feature and were paired with leather gloves in a variety of lengths and colours.
The collection called ARTHOUSE BEAUTY was yet another step up for Waight Keller and we can’t wait to see what she conjures up for the upcoming haute couture show.
