It’s CULTED with you 60-second NEWS BLAST.
After months of speculation, Harper’s Bazaar has finally appointed its new Editor-In-Chief.
Samira Nasr will take over from Glenda Bailey, who stepped down in January of this year, to oversee both the print and digital versions of HB from July 6th.
Samira will make history as the first ever Black editor of the publication in its 153-year history, marking a milestone in an industry that sees little, if any, diversity at the top levels.
She is currently the executive fashion director at Vanity Fair and also worked as Elle’s fashion director for five years. Throughout her impressive career, she’s been the style director for InStyle and has styled campaigns for luxury brands like Tiffany & Co. and Laura Mercier.
We can’t wait to see Samira Nasr’s Harper’s Bazaar come to life.
What do you think of Samira’s appointment?
