It’s CULTED with your 60-second FASHION BLAST.

With the pandemic affecting creatives across the world, we’ve decided to highlight some of our favourite designers who deserve more time in the spotlight. Today we’re looking at Robert Wun, the designer behind the London based self-titled label.

Wun serves womenswear with a futuristic twist, experimenting with bold, sculptural silhouettes, which translates into an ultra-modern aesthetic. He draws inspiration from nature, which he says “offers a kind of beauty that humbles and motivates you”.

Through his work, Wun “aims to empower the idea of femininity in fashion with strong shapes and a touch of new edge.”

He got his start in fashion after graduating in womenswear from London College of Fashion back in 2012. His graduate collection was discovered by Joyce Boutique, and he’s since designed costumes for The Hunger Games and The Royal Ballet.

When asked if he had any advice for young creatives who are just starting their career in design, Wun said:

don’t forget that passion that got you started in this path in the first place, as you grow [it] keeps you authentic and keeps you going even when you are lost and at your lowest.”

Make sure to go check out the work of Robert Wun and drop a comment with your favourite emerging designer and who knows, maybe they’ll be featured next week!
