Goldwin is revolutionising fashion manufacturing with Spiber

The Japanese brand Goldwin and biotech company Spiber have been working on structural protein materials since 2015, and finally, the Brewed Protein™ fibres are making their worldwide debut in a collaborative FW23/24 collection. Nine pieces were released today that aim to tackle fashion’s environmental issue. The collection was based on the “Regenerative Circle,” which you can learn all about in the collaborative short film titled “Imagine, Believe, Community and Collection.”

This is the collaboration we didn’t know we needed. Miu Miu gets a back-to-school makeover infused with Church’s’ formal heritage. The collaboration centres around two brogues, one features double silver buckle detailings and the other has perforated details throughout. Both are found in a black and brown leather iteration, now available at Dover Street Market London.

Stone Island Marina Winter 23/24 takes us back to 1920s Antarctica

Stone Island Marina gets bold and impactful for its very first Winter 23/24 drop. The collection was actually inspired by expeditions to Antarctica during the 1920s, with its icy-white and reflective outerwear. The RUBBER WAX POPLIN DOWN Jacket comes as a standout piece, with its extra padding to maximise warmth, comfort and waterproofing. The whole collection is now available for purchase online.

CAT Footwear collaborates with British designer Nigel Cabourn

For their second collaboration, CAT Footwear and Nigel Cabourn stick to the basics: practicality and durability. The two collaborative designs – the UTAH ZIP and OHAMA LACE – were created to resist the harsh natural elements. The UTAH ZIP features a front zip fastening and is seen in both Black/Olive and Bison colourways while the OHAMA LACE has criss-crossing laces all around to the mudguard and arrives in Black an Olive colourways.

Toga Archives’ SS24 collection is “assertive” and “feminine”

Toga Archives’ SS24 offering gives us a new take on femininity. It uses traditionally feminine-associated fabrics such as ribbons and lace but twists the connotations on their heads such as by adding blue and black pigments. Pieces include tailored shirts that reveals lingerie underneath, a sleeveless blazer and tartan-printed trousers.

Footpatrol x KARHU get together for the third time

Footpatrol and KARHU are no stranger to each other, having collaborated twice in the past. The two join forces again to create the Fusion 2.0, a sneaker inspired by a 1980s snow boot nicknamed the Snowstar. Of course, a snow boot wouldn’t be complete without a snow suit which comes in the form of a dual-tone oversuit. All collaborative pieces will be released on September 30.
