Friday NEWSRUSH Featuring Raf Simons First Ever Womenswear Line.

First up, Raf Simons is launching his first ever womenswear line under his eponymous label. Simons took to Instagram to reveal that the brand’s first womenswear line will debut on 23 October, alongside the label’s SS21 men’s collection. At this point details are scarce but we’ll keep you updated as and when new info comes in.
Next up, Telfar is collaborating with Ugg on a collection that will make its debut in 2021. Telfar teased the collab in an IGTV video which starred Clemens wearing looks from the upcoming collaboration. We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge.
In other news, Saint Laurent has released the audience figures for its recent menswear show, declaring it a success. The 6 minute video which was broadcast on 9 September brought in 42.4 million global views. This included 17 million views on YouTube, 5.6 million on TikTok, and further 5.6 million on Instagram and Facebook.
To end this morning’s updates, Banksy attempted to trademark his iconic graffiti image to protect from counterfeit merchandisers cashing in on his work. However, the European Union’s intellectual property office has rejected Banksy’s trademark application declaring the “Flower Thrower” trademark as invalid.
