It’s CULTED with your Friday morning NEWSRUSH.
First up, Marine Serre and Y/Project have won this year’s ANDAM’s family fund award. Marine Serre will receive €200,000 euros, with Glenn Martens’ Y/Project getting €150,000 euros. As well as the money, the winning brands will also receive expert mentoring in areas including e-commerce, communications and sustainability.
Next up, the schedule for Paris Fashion Week SS21 Men’s has been released. Taking place between July 9 – 13, brands including Y/Project, Louis Vuitton and Rick Owens, will all show their collections digitally. In other news, Lil Yachty is back with a new music video for ‘Wock In Stock’. The track is from the recently released ‘Lil Boat 3’ project which sees features from Asap Rocky, Tyler The Creator and Drake.
And to round off today, Adidas, REI, Puma, and Unilever have joined The North Face and Patagonia on the ‘Stop Hate for Profit’ campaign. The campaign will see the brands pulling advertising from Facebook over the platforms spreading of racist rhetoric and false information.
