Friday News Rush Featuring Billie Eilish x Taskashi Murakami.
It’s CULTED with your Friday NEWS RUSH.
First up, TikTok has been accused of violating child privacy laws.
Organisations have claimed that the video app has failed to remove videos made by children below the age of 13, which they agreed to do in February last year. TikTok has already been forced to pay $5.7 million for previously failing to delete children’s personal info and it looks like another fine could be heading their way…
Next up, Billie Eilish and Takashi Murakami have teamed up with UNIQLO UT on a new project.
So far news on the collab is scarce but we have been given a glimpse of what the potential collection will look like from an Instagram teaser. The full line is expected to be released later this month.
In other news, Alber Elbaz has sketched a nurse t-shirt to raise money for French hospitals.
The shirt has been released with French fashion chain Gerard Darel with all proceeds being donated to the French healthcare system.
And to round off today, Louis Vuitton has rolled out more of its Pre-Fall collection!
The menswear items feature camo print and bold patterning and will be released shortly on the LV website.
That’s all for today’s news.
It’s Sam with CULTED. Have a great weekend.
