First up, Maison Margiela announces a surprise collab with The North Face. Although MM6 Maison Margiela is a women’s line, the collab is expected to be unisex.
Next, Diesel is the latest brand to join the Fashion Pact. The Pact aims to improve biodiversity, the climate and ocean quality. This is the latest step in Diesel’s environmental goals.
On the lines of sustainability, H&M is to become the first major retailer to use the recycled material Circulose. The material is made from discarded textiles and this will mark the first time that chemically recycled fibres have been used in clothing at this scale. The material will be used in a dress as part of their upcoming Conscious Exclusive collection.
In other news, Converse has launched a Creative All-Stars pop-up in celebration of the NBA All-Stars weekend. The pop-up will take place today in London and attendees will get the chance to personalise products under the guidance of industry professionals. The pop-up will also feature new drops and special restocks.
Finally, A. F Vandevorst and Filip Arickx are closing their label after 22 years. The brand is known for their many collaborations, unique installations and artistic pursuits, and have been proud to show their work during Haute Couture in Paris.
