Friday NEWS RUSH Featuring Nike ‘Play For The World’.

It’s CULTED bringing you your Friday morning NEWS RUSH.

First up, animal rights group PETA is taking advantage of the stock market downturn. The group has bought stocks in a number of fashion companies, including Ralph Lauren and Urban Outfitters. PETA has been known to buy the minimum number of shares needed to attend annual meetings and influence company decisions.

Next up, Nike has paid tribute to top athletes training at home in its new campaign ‘Play for the World’. The campaign features LeBron James, Ramla Ali, Sara Hughes and the general public. The new release is in support of the brand’s wider ‘Play Inside’ coronavirus campaign, which offers free home work-outs and expert guidance to encourage people to train indoors.

In other news, the quarantine pillow challenge is taking over the internet. The new trend involves belting a pillow to your body to make the most fashionable fit. Could you see our presenters trying this challenge?

That’s all for today.

It’s Sam with CULTED. Have a great weekend.
