Friday NEWS RUSH Featuring House Of Holland Entering Administration.

It’s CULTED with your Friday Morning NEWS RUSH.

First up, House of Holland has gone into administration and is searching for investors after “difficult trading pressures”. Will Wright, a partner at KPMG and the joint administrator said “the company needed to raise additional investment in order for it to continue”. Administrators plan for the brand to carry on trading online whilst they attempt to secure new investment.

In other news, MatchesFashion have launched ‘The Responsible Edit’ with their partner Eco-Age. ‘The Responsible Edit’ is an online hub which allows customers to find brands that MatchesFashion claim are at the “forefront of conscious fashion”.

Finally the coronavirus continues to affect the fashion industry as the spread continues. Gucci has cancelled their upcoming Cruise show which was due to take place in San Francisco on 18 May. Versace has also postponed their Cruise show with no new date confirmed.

Armani and Ralph Lauren have also cancelled upcoming events.

With the virus continuing to spread, we wonder how this will affect June Fashion Week or if there will even be one at this point.

That’s it for today’s NEWS RUSH.

It’s Sam with CULTED have a great Friday!
