Friday NEWS RUSH Featuring Global Change Awards Winners.
It’s CULTED bringing you your Friday morning NEWS RUSH.
First up, ever wondered how much Kanye West’s high school art is worth? I mean, me neither but we’ve been given the answer. A number of artworks created by 17 year-old Kanye appeared on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow, and were valued between $16,000 and $23,000 at auction.
Next up, the Prada group have developed a new digital project allowing customers a glimpse into the group’s DNA. Called Remix, the new content takes us behind the scenes, offering fans a unique look inside factories, and provides an insight into how the group creates their latest clothes and bags. Remix is online now on the Prada group’s website.
In other news, the H&M foundation has announced the winners of this year’s Global Change Awards. The awards aim to highlight and support companies who are innovators in sustainability. There were 5 winners in total, with Galy, a business which uses biotechnology to create lab-grown cotton, taking home the top prize of €300,000.
That’s all for today.
It’s Sam with CULTED. Have a great Friday and make sure to stay safe over the weekend.
