First up, Valentino is the first major luxury brand to launch an at-home campaign for AW20.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Adut Akech, and Anwar Hadid are among the big names coming together to film the #ValentinoEmpathy campaign, all from the comfort of their own homes. The images look to celebrate the upcoming collection, while connecting people during these difficult times.
Valentino will be donating the $1m the brand would have spent on advertising to Rome’s Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases.
Next up, major film festivals from around the world are uniting for a 10-day long global streaming event.
We Are One: A Global Film Festival will stream movies for free on YouTube that otherwise would have been shown at the world’s biggest film festivals. The schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
In other news, Juice WRLD is still breaking into new charts less than half a year after his death.
He appears on the track “No Me Ame” which has debuted on the Hot Latin Songs chart at number 15.
