It’s that time again – if you’ve come inside to cool off (what the hell, London), we’re providing some light reading to refresh your memory on what’s gone down this week – from fashion shows-turned-memes, to Jack Daniels finally succumbing to pre-mixed Jack n Cokes. JACK DANIELS & COKE, BUT MAKE IT PRE-MIXED

A Jack and Coke has been a go-to for many since JD released a pre-mixed JD & Cola in 1996. Fast forward 26 years and the brand has finally tapped Coca-Cola for a pre-mix but we can only wonder why the two didn’t clash sooner. Arriving in both the full sugar and Zero versions, Jack & Coke will be available in a 350ml can with 5% alcohol content. The drink will first be launched in Mexico in the second half of 2022, followed by the global release.

MATTHEW M WILLIAMS RELEASES HIS FIRST PERFUME FOR GIVENCHY

Since his appointment as creative director of Givenchy, Matthew M. Williams has done it all – from innovative footwear collections to a surprise Disney collab. Now though, the designer is tackling the scents world with a new unisex fragrance as part of Givenchy Beauty’s La Collection Particulière series. Of course, in true MMW fashion, the scent comes in a sleek black bottle accompanied by a lock-style bottle cap. Matthew M. Williams’ La Collection Particulière perfume is now available at Givenchy’s online store for $250 USD.

PLACES+FACES ENGINEER KAYTRANADA’S TOUR MERCH

Kicking off his Europe ‘22 tour on Wednesday, Kaytranada took centre stage at the Festsaal Kreuzberg venue in Berlin. As part of the merch collection for the tour, the artist collaborated with PLACES+FACES on a three-piece collection of graphic tees and hoodies laden with “Europe 22’”, and accompanied by images of the musician. T-shirts and hoodies are priced at $45 and $90 USD and are available at each concert around Europe.

VTMNTS SS23 HAPPENED, AND WAS ALL ABOUT THE WALKS

Guram Gvasalia’s VTMNTS SS23 took an architectural approach, blending streetwear with sleek, luxurious silhouettes. Models were seen bounding down the runway in an array of cropped attire, as well as trench coats and the brand’s signature “double shouldered” blazers. 

CASABLANCA DROP AN $18K PING PONG TABLE, JUST BECAUSE

Up for a friendly game of Ping-Pong? Casablanca has got you covered this summer. Teaming up with equipment brand Butterfly, Casablanca is dropping an $18,000 ping-pong table as part of its Spring/Summer 22 collection. Featuring a colourful design, the table arrives with a wavy divider which matches the squiggly motif imprinted atop, as well as colourful paddles and Casablanca-branded ping-pong balls. 

The table and paddle will be released on June 18th and 20th, respectively.
