Monday nights don’t always pop off – even in London – but this Monday did, thanks to Feather Pendants and Lost Paradise. Taking over a coveted spot on Europe’s busiest high street, the London-based jewellery brand and contemporary menswear label came together to curate a 5-day immersive experience, complemented with an exclusive event and performances.
Having previously shown at the most recent Paris Fashion Week, the brands took to London to celebrate the launch of their SS22 collections. Heading up the jewellery front, Feather Pendants’ collection exemplified its unconventional approach to jewellery design. Titled ‘INTERSTELLAR’, the pieces drew inspiration from ‘intergalactic exploration’, building and expanding on the design motifs established in its previous collections. Precious stones and freshwater pearls took precedence, tapping into the much-loved jewellery trend of the moment whilst also offering a timeless take on it: setting the stones within sterling silver and gold.
Elsewhere, Lost Paradise showcased a collection which adopted its central brand concept and narrative of having a fearless attitude – being ‘LOST’ in a creative ‘PARADISE’. A metaphor for being “naively lost on a creative journey with no real end goal aside from perfecting a self-built paradise”, the independent label complemented the simultaneous jewellery showcase with its second instalment of its SS22 collection. Presenting a seamless blend of luxury meets streetwear, the new season debuted with a two-part campaign, tying the knot between both London and Paris.
On launch night, the two brands and CULTED’s own James Loach hosted a community of creatives for an exclusive preview of the collections, with JAMO BEATZ & CHEF DEE providing the vibes on the decks, and DDESMS performing live. Found on Oxford St until this Friday, you can check out the new collections in store.
