Dust off your dancing shoes for Caprices Festival 2024

Caprices Festival is back with a belter of a line-up across two weekends. From March 29, Honey Dijon, Chris Stussy, KiNK, Ben Klock, Sven Vath, and a boatload more will take to the decks in Crans-Montana in Switzerland. This is the 21st time the festival has returned, 2,200m up the Swiss Alps, which is pretty nice if you ask us. If you want to kick off your festival season early, grab your ticket here.

Birkenstock and Helen Kirkum are throwing an exhibition in Shoreditch

Reconstruct” by Helen Kirkum showcases the meditative process of handcraft in parallel with the healing connection of a creative community. Kirkum is Birkenstock’s artist in residence at the Birkenstock studio, where she and her team have been able to explore the raw process of craft, creating purely for the act of doing so. “Reconstruct” explores the results of the residency in its physical form as well as the process of connection. If this sounds like a bit of you, head to the Birkenstock Studio in Dray Walk Gallery in East London’s Truman Brewery on March 23 from 7-9 pm.

Jolene and Gelupo are giving us a hot cross bun-gelato fusion

Soho gelateria, Gelupo, is reuniting with London bakery and restaurant Jolene for a limited-edition run of Easter specials. Gelupo will be serving artisan gelato sandwiches made with Jolene’s pillowy hot cross buns and some playful “creme egg” filling buns. While the whole menu sounds like a bit of us, we recommend giving the orange peel-flecked marmalade gelato. If this has sent your taste buds into overdrive, A limited number of the Gelupo x Jolene hot cross bun gelato sandwiches and gelato creme egg toasted buns will be served daily until Monday, April 1.

Titi Finlay has presented her inaugural exhibition, “THINGS,” presented by Camden Open Air Gallery. Finlay is known for her hyper-realist takes on some of pop culture’s most in-demand items and will share her unique perspective on the things we cherish as part of her exhibition. The event is accompanied by a host of cool goings-on, including a conversation with Finlay in honour of International Women’s Month, which focuses on women’s roles in sneaker culture. The exhibition aligns with the relaunch of COAG, which is expanding beyond traditional art shows and incorporating a range of creative talents, including artists, designers, chefs and musicians.
