PLAY DEAD – THE GOAT IS HERE
While we don’t know much about it – we know it will supremely satisfy. Dropping on the 1st of December – Supreme have partnered with William Strobeck to create another short film – set to feature all things skater. Surely brimming with Supreme, skating and arm biting tricks – posters have been dotted and spotted all around to tease us with its content. Titled ‘Play Dead’ – the skate part is sure to get the heart thumping and inspiration rolling as we gear up to watch it in all its Mid-90s glam. As Strobeck’s most recent film ‘Mind Goblin’ was released with Supreme in 2021 and was 20 minutes of aesthetically cut and engaging clips – this year’s short promises to deliver.
UNIQLO’S BEEN MISSIN’ MARNI

Think 60s colour palettes and 70s stripes – Uniqlo and Marni are back together and collaborating for the second time this year. Inspired by a conflicting collision of purity and chaos – the collaborative collection comes to life in Uniqlo’s HEATTECH, knitwear and outerwear. The collaboration has the winter chill in mind – with pure cashmere orange and brown striped turtlenecks having matching gloves which create a one piece look. With hooded knitted scarves and striped knitted skirts – the collection offers a chance to keep cosy at no cost to your style. Set to drop on the 1st of December, check out the collection on the duo’s websites now.
GENESIS ARE WRITING THE BOOK ON NIGHT-OUT INNOVATION

Picture the scene – an exclusive DJ set in London’s Shoreditch, powered entirely by… a car? Genesis once again reminds us that their technology can make anything possible – giving us the chance to globally stream the world’s first mix fuelled solely by one of their vehicles. Taking place on the 30th of this month, artists Jayda G and Didi Han will be spinning decks connected to the not spinning wheels of a luxury automobile from Genesis. Celebrating the meeting and merging of technology and design, the event highlights exceptional Korean hospitality while reminding watchers to truly enjoy the moment. If the evening infects your groove – grab at the chance to relive the experience, with both DJs curating a playlist of the tunes used, ready to spread like wildfire through your playlists. The laser-filled night is set to be a set to remember. Click here for more info on how to watch the stream.
MATTY BOVAN & FOCUSING ON THE FINAL TOUCHES

Reflecting on the designer’s textile-rich work – the experience takes the typically thought of as a ‘finishing touch’ ribbon and blows it up to become the ‘everything touch’. Having been awarded the NOW Gallery’s 2022 Fashion Commission, Bovan has been given the chance to explore his creativity beyond singular garment design and create his own world – inviting us all to experience it too.

IT’S GIVING GIZA – WITH DIOR

Dior is no stranger to the influence of Egyptian aesthetics – with their Spring/Summer 2004 collection drawing heavily on hieroglyphs, jade blue and deep red beadings and Cleopatra-inspired eyeshadows. Just under twenty years later, the brand’s artistic director Kim Jones has decided to keep consistent – with Dior’s Pre-Fall 2023 menswear collection to be unveiled in front of the Giza Pyramids in Cairo. Taking place on the 3rd of December, the show’s setting explores Jones’ lifelong love for travel and his childhood years spent in Africa. The show is set to be filled with daring Dior designs, while also identifying how these inspirations manifest within Jones’ work.
