It’s CULTED with part 2 of our digital London Fashion Week recap.

This weekend saw designers piece together films, exhibitions and creative projects so here are more of the stand-out designers.

First up Nicholas Daley who, instead of presenting a new collection, chose to revisit his AW20 show with a short film called ‘The Abstract Truth’. Daley carried on his commitment to celebrating Black talent in the film, with music by jazz musicians Kwake Bass, Wu-Lu and Rago Foot.

Bianca Saunders also chose not to present a new collection and instead hosted a live panel show with SHOWstudio addressing the importance of creative collaboration, and released a collaborative Zine.

Called ‘We Are One of Same’, Saunders said her zine establishes “a common-ground through our shared realities of blackness, whilst drawing out the distinct difference in our lived experiences as black peoples.”

And next up, we have Natasha Zinko x DUOltd.

The ‘Sober’ collection was laid-back and youthful and was presented in an up-beat video. Red and blue dominated the collection which screamed ‘Americana’. Toy pistols were a recurring print, highlighting the designer’s commitment to gun control. We also saw heart/stripe motifs, collage-like patchwork and wide-legged indigo denim.

So guys, which designer or brand stood out to you? Let us know!
