Ever wanted to dabble in footwear design? Well, Tyler, the Creator is making that one step easier. Literally. Having previously collaborated with Converse on a series of releases, constituting a creative partnership, the two have delivered some of the most vibrant and disruptive interpretations of classic sneaker silhouettes.
For their latest joint venture, the lid is lifted on the design process – inviting fans and community members to build (and buy) their own Golf Wang Chuck 70s on Converse’s custom building platform. If you want in, you’ve got to be quick – the platform will only open for 24 hours for customers in the US and Western Europe for you to design and cop your unique designed pair.

What’s more, you can delve into the Golf Wang archives to customise your own pair. Using the Chuck 70 canvas, classic Golf Wang logos will be reintroduced on the platform, as well as five ‘Heritage’ logos which recall earlier collaborations. In terms of colour, you can choose from green, red, yellow, blue, white or black canvases, and take your pick from a selection of ankle patches. In all, there’s over 100,000 possible combinations – giving plenty of opportunity for you to craft an entirely unique pair.
Interested? Set your alarms for 10am local time on April 28th, and head over to Converse’s website to start designing.
