We (as the CULTED team) barely ever need to look for new clothes to buy, it’s our job – we come across all these products through press releases and friends and then write about them for you. And yes, we’re human, obviously it’s very tempting to splurge a little regularly. This week for CULTED CURATES, we’ve gathered our favourite items the team has been eyeing up. If you end up buying any of these, send us a DM or use #cultedfits on IG. We really would love to see it.
PAVEL
BOTTEGA VENETA MAXI INTRECCIATO MESSENGER BAG, US$2,100 / £1,565
I’ve always been a fan of Bottega’s signature leather weaving, but since the “New Bottega” is a thing I haven’t actually yet purchased any of Daniel Lee’s creations. Lately though, I’ve been watching this bag (even though it’s got a hefty price tag). If you have read some of our previous CULTED CURATES shopping guides, you will know that I like a statement piece – well, this is it. I can imagine this bold bag with a more minimal summer outfit, like the items below.

AMI PARIS WORKER DENIM SHORTS, US$179 / £123
I’m always watching Ami, I like the unconventional cuts and shapes of the garments – like these “worker” shorts. I have a pair of black/grey leopard print skater shorts which are a similar shape and they’re my favourite, in fact, I have worn them for most of the summer months for the past two years. These would be a good addition to my wardrobe – simple, it’s all about the cut.

MAN ON THE BOO KNITTED POLO SHIRT, US$143 / £139
I’m going on holiday soon and the vibe I’m going for is beachy but smart (for the evenings at least). I can imagine this knitted polo shirt with some chilled loose shorts and perhaps the Bottega Veneta cross body bag above. The colour is perfect, I will blend in with the scenery.

SOPHIE
MSGM HIGH-WAISTED BAGGY TROUSERS, US$500 / £330
A good pair of tailored trousers are a staple for any wardrobe, and being almost 6ft, I often find it difficult to find a pair that fit. These look like the perfect option, an oversized pair that can be dressed up or down. I’d pair them with a simple top but go all out with the bright accessories.

PINKO FAUX-LEATHER CROPPED TOP, US$180 / £130
Restrictions lifted and I realised I had nothing to wear, can you tell? I love anything to do with layering (and leather for that matter), so this placed over the top of a shirt would be a vibe.

A.P.C DIANE CHECK TOTE BAG, US$159 / £135
A tote bag that you can just chuck anything and everything into. Practicality can be cool, people.

SAM LR
AFEW GOODS YAMASURA SNEAKER, US$250 / £180
Afew Goods’ first foray into sneaker creation arrives as a sustainably considered, fashionably designed runner dubbed “Yamasura”. Pulling inspiration from the iconic Ferrari Testarossa, it’s a strong product I’m excited to get my hands on come July 31 when they launch.

PACKER X NEW ERA NEW YORK YANKEES FITTED, US$76 / £54
The fitted cap is such an iconic design, and so timeless a product, that I’ve been fiending for one for a while – there’s no better option than the Packer x New Era collaborative line.

POLAR PATTERNED SHIRT, US$95 / £68
I saw an old clip of Loyle Carner in one of these and I’ve been hooked since. Hopefully someday I’ll be able to find the red one he was wearing but this will do in its place.

SAM G
HERON PRESTON LEVEL 01 NY1, US$350 / £250 (APPROX.)
We covered the announcement of these glasses lately and I haven’t been able to get them off my mind since. Heron Preston collaborating with Gentle Monster is a dream come true, I’m itching for them to drop – I hope they take Apple Pay.

ALMOST GODS’ RECANTO DE PRAIA’ JACKET, US$180 / £130 (APPROX.)
I’ve been following Almost Gods on instagram for some time now and continue to be impressed by the designs they release – but this jacket is by far my favourite to date. I just want it, I need it.

JULIETTE
JACQUEMUS LE T-SHIRT LUCCIU, US$188 / £155
I first saw this on the runway and wanted it. I’m now seeing it in stores and I (unfortunately for my bank card) still want it.

NIKE AGC GORE-TEX BUCKET HAT, US$55 / £45
You would think I’d want a bucket hat in summer to protect me from the sun. And you’re not wrong – at least partly. With the unnecessary amount of rain we’ve been getting, I need something to protect my hair and makeup so I don’t look like a train wreck before even getting to the pub.

LIAM HODGES PICNIC TARTAN SWEATER VEST, US$963 / £695
Will I realistically buy this? No. Will I endlessly think of it, imagine outfits around it and constantly complain that I can’t get it? Perhaps.
