Culted Community talks: is the Marc Jacobs girl who fell down the stairs okay?

The wilder the better, or so goes the motto for fashion campaigns. Jacquemus had its Bambino bag turned into buses that paraded around Parisian streets, Camper had Julia Fox smashing a beer bottle on her head and Marc Jacobs had a model violently falling down a stone staircase before effortlessly getting back up, fixing her hair and walking away as if nothing happened.

We recently posted the American brand‘s viral campaign clip to our Instagram and TikTok and our comment section was as wild as the video itself. @trxj2021 and @kellynastassja said what all our self-deprecating minds immediately thought of by commenting “Me dealing halfway through the week” and “My 2023 in a nutshell.”

Surprisingly, the safety and wellbeing of the model, Tereza Kubova, wasn’t the first thing that popped into your heads. The absolute composed nature of the model despite having just taken a tumble mesmerising a couple of you, with @achungness saying “Graceful af.” @saratea named Kuboval “stunt woman queen,” and honestly we agree. Someone get her a plaque (and an ice pack).

After a slew of comments calling her an “ICON,” “queen,” and “a pro,” @faerief.re stood out as the first to be concerned asking “Is she not bruised?” Surely, underneath the XL Sack bag, six-inch white leather boots and co-ord silver fit, padding was provided – at least we hope.

Clearly, the model/stuntwoman was fine as per her casual strut away from the incident – honestly, she was so real for that. The realest comment of all came from @eldrin_bruce who said “Fall fashion week.” Speaking of being on the nose.

Whether you loved the stunt or were concerned about the safety of those involved, the shocking video made its rounds. With millions of views in the past 36 hours since we posted the video, Marc Jacobs achieved what so many fashion brands aim for: virality.
