Sustainability is becoming more and more of a focus for brands and designers, with sustainable practises becoming increasingly important to shoppers. But COVID-19 could be bringing the sustainability movement to a sudden halt.
So why is that?
As fast fashion dominates the highstreet, sustainable materials are not the norm which sadly means they’re a lot more expensive. But leaving sustainability practises by the wayside could be detrimental to brands. Many of us no longer shop at brands who are known to have poor sustainability practices, and sustainability can also be a huge selling point for brands as people strive to be more eco-conscious.
So guys we want to hear from you.
Would you still shop a brand if it priorities profit over sustainability?
