Brands Join the Fight Against Coronavirus.

As you may be aware the coronavirus has cast a shadow over the Chinese New Year. To help fight the outbreak, luxury groups are coming together to support with major donations.
According to reports, LVMH, parent company of Louis Vuitton, has donated an estimated $2.3 million to the Chinese Red Cross Foundation. The Foundation is helping gather much-needed medical supplies in the city of Wuhan, where the outbreak happened.
Kering, Gucci’s parent company, has also reportedly promised to donate over $1 million to the efforts of the Red Cross. Francois-Henri Pinault, Kering’s CEO told WWD:
“Our thoughts are with the many impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, and therefore we have decided to donate the funds as an immediate contribution to assist.”
Swarovski, L’Oreal and Estée Lauder have also reportedly made donations to fight the virus.
The virus causes respiratory infections and has already taken the lives of over 150 people.
We hope all these contributions will help fight the virus and improve the situation.
