Contact have been connecting the dots of creativity in an increasingly difficult space to navigate – when brands and talent are searching and producing from seemingly endless angles. The brainchild platform of Reuben Selby, celebrated designer and creative in his own right, Contact provides a place for a diverse roster of talent, and heavy-hitting brands to converge and collaborate – creating a space of creative empowerment for all involved. Having just secured a further £3 million in investment, the platform is continuing to push its core ethos of pursuing changes in industry standards, and uplifting emerging creativity – this time, by letting us in on the creatives’ worlds.
Following up from the news of the investment, Contact has produced a continuous film series of short-form documentaries, in order to showcase their personality, talent, and of course, creativity.

Titled ‘OFF TRACK’, the videos showcase the diversity of Contact’s community, as well as their overarching mission to create a space for everyone. The series will consist of three parts – with each dedicated to showing the multi-faceted experience of one of their creatives.
Symbolising the power of creativity, as well as how it can lead to new avenues and experiences, the docu-series also speaks to times of introspection. Alongside celebrating their achievements, perhaps the biggest takeaway from the project is the grit and determination required in today’s creative landscape – things are increasingly complex, and OFF-TRACK displays the lows as well as the highs, asking harder hitting questions that each creative has had to ask, overcome and respond to.
In industries in which is is increasingly difficult to escape the forsaken paths of nepotism and wealth over authentic creative expression, collectives and platforms like Contact are helping to readdress this balance – placing emphasis on nurturing young talent, and opening doors for creativity to thrive without logistical, financial or social concerns. Their latest project, OFF-TRACK, furthers this agenda – by giving us an insight into the creatives which make it.
