As September comes to an end and evenings become shorter, one thing we can guarantee is an incredible array of sneakers to drop over the next few months. This week, we see a handful of brand-new collaborations to kick off the October rotation refresh. From cartoons to musicians, these releases have something for everybody.
THIS WEEK’S NEWS: 20.09.21 – 26.09.21
The rumour mill continues to turn when it comes to Drake’s upcoming collaboration with Nike. Multiple NOCTA apparel lines have dropped over the last few months, but we are yet to see the iconic rapper’s Nike Air Terra release. As of right now, only Drake himself has been spotted in a pair of these retro sneakers.
This version is now the third colourway of the Nike ‘Hot Step’ Air Terra that we have seen from the NOCTA camp, with Drizzy Drake teasing a triple white and snakeskin pair previously. There is still no official word on the release for this collaboration, but keep your eyes peeled on CULTED for further updates.

NEXT WEEK’S RELEASES: 27.09.21 – 03.10.21
This week sees an intriguing mix of collaborations release from New Balance, Jordan Brand and adidas. New Balance once again keeps up tradition with unique collabs, this time linking up with London-based running club Run the Boroughs. The drop falls in line with this Sunday’s London Marathon, with the NB 991 the perfect running shoe to get you in the mood.
Jordan Brand is set to drop not one but two Air Jordan 1’s this week. An OG version dressed in the ‘Prototype’ colorway features a removable ankle collar for the first time. Billie Eilish has her first collaboration with Jordan, releasing a vibrant AJ1KO in an eye-catching volt colorway. A guaranteed head-turner.
We even see sportswear powerhouse adidas move away from Kanye West briefly to join forces with another icon, Ned Flanders. A McCarten silhouette comes dressed pink, brown and green, perfectly complimenting The Simpsons stars ‘fit. This sneaker would not look out of place in Springfield.
Nike sticks to its tried and tested ways, re-releasing the ever-popular Dunk silhouette in a crisp white colorway. Sneakers do not come cleaner than this—a must-cop.
