Hedi Slimane Takes Us Back to the 70s with Celine AW20.

It’s CULTED with your RUNWAY RUNDOWN.
Last night Hedi Slimane sent the slender Celine boys and girls down the runway side by side for his AW20 collection here in Paris.
As always with Slimane, the show opened dramatically. A curtain dropped to the floor to reveal huge light structures flashing in the CELINE logo, before the first model was cast into the spotlight on a conveyor belt.
The show lasted 20 minutes and in the words of @pam_boy it: “was literally 4 collections.” The devil works hard but Hedi Slimane works harder.
In true Slimane style, every look was wardrobe ready. The huge collection had a 70s rockstar feel, with looks accessorised with John Lennon-esque sunglasses.
Skinny velvet suits hit the runway on slender figures and were paired with ruffled shirts and blouses. We saw big shaggy coats for both men and women which stood out from the sleek tailoring.
A male model walked the runway in a cropped striped sweater, styled with bootleg trousers and a tuxedo-like jacket. Does this mean we’ll see crop tops making a comeback next season for the boys?
Celine again stood out this fashion week but we would have liked to see some more diversity in the casting.

Having read this I thought it was extremely enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this
content together. I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worth it!
