If there’s one thing you need on a rocky trail, inching your way up that mountain, or even walking through the city, trying to get those 10k steps in, it’s a durable pair of sneakers, and Canada Goose is here to deliver.

For its first-ever sneaker, which by the way isn’t just one pair but a whole collection, Canada Goose went big and bold with its Glacier Trail sneaker. It’s luxury made technical (or technical made luxury, you tell us) with its high-tech additions and premium materials, including suede and leather, and it comes in a low and high-top version to satisfy everyone’s wants and needs.

The shoe is made out of a waterproof HDry® base layer and a rubberized leather finish to protect the whole thing. Essentially, whether it’s rain, snow or mud, nothing is getting through the Glacier Trails. It also features a stretch collar and a 360-degree lacing system, breathable materials and cushioning, which means low effort and high comfort for you.

Inspired by the maple leaf Canada Goose uses on its disc logo, the sneaker features a two-tone look divided into the sole and the upper, coming in a series of neutral tones as well as daring colours like “Sundial Orange” and “Ozone Blue”. At this rate, the hardest thing to do with these shoes isn’t climbing that hill, it’s picking the colourway.
Canada Goose’s Glacier Trail sneakers will be made available online and in stores on July 18, priced between £375 and £475.
